From our produce to our eggs to our pork, and — in coming months — lamb, many of our ingredients are grown only fifteen minutes north of the restaurant on our own Cunningham Farms. Beyond our own farm, we are also proud to have deep relationships with farmers throughout the mid-Atlantic region who provide us with meat, additional produce, and seafood. Sourcing locally for us is as much about the connection we create with farmers, as it is about the food. With the same intentions, we ensure that all of our seafood meets either the “good” or “good alternative” criteria from The Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch. Overfishing is a global problem, and we are committed to doing our part in promoting the responsible sourcing of seafood. Further, when at all possible, we support local fishermen and sustainable practices used throughout the Chesapeake Bay.
